Amy: [is not looking happy about being in an alleyway, making a face before glancing back at Ruby] You could have at least let me buy a drink. [a beat] Or let someone buy me a drink.
Ruby: [rolls her eyes] You'll live. [glances around the cans and dumpsters before deciding to speak up] Illyria?
Illyria: [she's been watching them for a while, perched on the fire escape above the alley, annoyed already with the waste of time that they're taking up by just chattering. Dropping down to the ground, she rose to her feet smoothly, her head tilting] You're demons.
Amy: [hands land on her hips as she looked her over] You missed the leather being in by about a decade. While we're stating the obvious.
Ruby: [another major eye roll] I'm a demon. She's a Fallen, which is a little bit higher on the demon pay grade.
Illyria: [glances to the one] This is suitable for what I intend to inflict upon others. It is appropriate. [then to the other, she turns and faces her] I don't care the pay grade. You're here for a reason, but I haven't been able to track the person who has been looking for your friend. The information Angel gave me, it was adequate enough to find a name, but he hasn't been in New York for some time.
Ruby: What's the name? Maybe we know how to track him down.
Illyria: [reaches into the leather cuff of her sleeve and pulls out the folded piece of paper] Gabriel Gray. He's using an alias though. Sylar.
Amy: [at the mention of that Amy stops being Amy and starts looking REALLY pissed off] Sylar. Sylar is looking for her?
Illyria: It appears so. [doesn't really care as to why this girl is suddenly more upset, that doesn't actually register as something worth noticing]
Ruby: [of course it doesn't, but it matters to Ruby] He hasn't even contacted her yet.
Amy: He was looking through her apartment Ruby. Only a matter of fucking time.
Ruby: Amy. We'll take care of it. [back to Illyria] Where was he last spotted?
Illyria: [the back and forth conversation is interesting, but when it is directed back to her she tilts her head] Your concern goes beyond Elle's identity and location being protected.
Amy: He tried to kill her once. I, for one, would rather it not happen again.
Illyria: I see. He's been staying in mostly public places. City records. [her head turned to address the one that seemed to be more calm about the situation] Eve called saying someone had accessed the hard copies. I tracked him to there, but he was already gone. He had to use his ID to access the records. [which would explain how she got the name] He was looking at cemetery plot maps. Possibly looking for where she might have been buried. Which I expect, was not handled, since she is still alive.
Ruby: [has no intention of letting Sylar get near Elle either, but yeah, she's a little calmer about the situation] So he'll head to the cemetary. We can track him from there.
Illyria: The only one that has ties to Elle is Saint Pauls. Her father is buried there. We should start there. [starts to head out of the alley and toward the street, clearly planning on walking there]
Ruby: [moves and catches her arm, pulling her back just a bit] We have a faster way.
Illyria: [is stopped and waits]
Ruby: [focuses for a minute, and the next thing they know, the three of them are standing in the cemetary, the sound of a motorcycle retreating in the background]
Illyria: [is ticked off that this demon can push herself through the barriers of travel through this world in that manner, but she is unable to, but she doesn't let it show - mostly because her expression hardly shifts] That was convenient.
Ruby: [shrugs] We have our advantages.
Amy: [moves forward, picking through the weeds and headstones] He was here. I can smell him.
Illyria: [moves behind them, but stops short] Someone is still here.
Faith: [pushes off the wall where she'd been leaning on for support, debating what she was going to do] Yeah, I'm still here. [she hates herself for looking like she got put through the ringer, but she did sort of instigate it]
Ruby: [head snaps towards the sound of Faith's voice, before moving closer] Jesus. What happened?
Faith: [shrugs, tugging her hair back behind her head, twisting it up loosely before letting it drop] I got bested. Someone's packin' Elle's ability along with a few more. I would've followed him but I was sort of tazered.
Amy: That sounds like Sylar.
Ruby: [holds up a hand in Amy's direction but keeps her eyes on Faith, looking over her injuries] Chill. [and this to Faith] You alright?
Faith: [lifts an eyebrow, moving to settle on top of a headstone] Sylar? Like... [thinks about it] Shit. I had him.
Ruby: He's been looking into Elle, trying to find her, and Illyria said that this might be a good place to start.
Faith: [nods, rubbing at her elbow a bit] Yeah, I mean he was looking at a gravesite. [pushes up to her feet and trying to sort out where he was, where he walked and where he stopped, mapping it out] He was about.... here. [glances down] Robert Bishop. I take it a relative?
Ruby: Her dad.
Illyria: His grave is undisturbed. Whatever he was looking for it would've been on the surface.
Ruby: He probably was just looking for the name. If this was a family plot and she was really dead, she would be on it as well.
Faith: [shakes her head] He was too focused, lingered even. [drops to her knees and feels against the grass] I don't know what he was doing, but he was feeling for something.
Amy: He has a lot of abilities. Probably picked up more between when we saved Elle and now. He might have been using one of them.
Faith: He's got a motorcycle and he took off on it. There's an odd compass decal on it. I've seen it before, but damned if I can recall where. [exhales, but with a wince] He's not here though and he's probably got less places to look now.
Amy: We'll find him. And I'll roast him like a pig.
Ruby: [glances back, eyes narrowed a bit] Amy. Chill.
Amy: [eyes flash back at her, before looking over the scene] I'm sure I can find him.
Faith: [nods] I should probably track back to the hotel, clean up... [she rises to her feet again, a bit slower this time, but that's just out of care for how she's standing and not wanting to strain anything] Illyria... good to see you haven't changed.
Illyria: It would be foolish of me to do so. Fred has been useful.
Faith: [bites the inside of her cheek at the crack about Fred and shakes it off] You guys gonna call it a night and reconvene in the morning?
Ruby: [holds up a hand before Amy can speak] Yeah. I have some magic to do. I'll take you back.
Faith: [shrugs] No offense, but I should walk this off. I can't just show up banged up and wincing when I get back to Christopher.
Ruby: [nods] Be careful.
Faith: [nods] Yeah, I will. [smirks] Well, more than I was when I picked a fight with that guy, at least.
Ruby: [smirks back] I'll see you at the hotel.
Faith: Yep. [and she starts to head off walking]
Illyria: [watches Faith walk off and turns her attention to the others] I have my own residence here in the city. When do we meet tomorrow?
Ruby: [rolls her neck a bit as she thinks this over] It'll take me some time to get what I need for the spell, and Faith's gonna need her sleep, so ... I'd say ten AM earliest.
Illyria: Where should we meet?
Ruby: Depends on if he's still in the city or not. Gotta phone?
Illyria: [glances to her] Not on me.
Ruby: But generally speaking you have a number to give me so that I can call you?
Illyria: [hadn't realized that was why she was being asked that question] Yes. [she gives her the number]
Ruby: [figured that much -- she's used to Cas, after all -- but she's feeling a little tense. makes a mental note of the number] I'll call you with the location.
Illyria: That's acceptable.
Ruby: Fantastic.
Illyria: [walks away from the two of them, positive that her part was now over in this]
Ruby: [glares back at Amy before grabbing her by the back of her dress] If I have to trap you by the end of the night? I'm gonna be pissed.
Amy: Bite me.
Ruby: Not in a million years.
