Weird
Had a dream I was playing some kind of Pokemon. My lead was an evolved Floatzel: taller, thinner, no float, mostly black with light blue spots. No idea what it was called. Its moveset was Hydro Pump, Earth Power, something and Grass Knot (misspelled).
After winning a fight, I moved into this feudal Japan area and came across a guy with a big head. Upon talking to him, the game asked me who he was and what his role was: the villain's henchman? A captured general in need of redemption? A mercenary?
I think that's a really neat game mechanic. It would require a lot of finesse in the story, but seeing an option screen of, "You can pick who this guy is, and here's what will happen down the road" is just kind of cool.
