Finally you'll find your soul
So it's been a hectic few months since I've last updated. Let's give it up...
I've decided to follow God's calling, and to begin to do youth group at the Miracle Center Christian Fellowship instead of at Swan Valley UMC. I still have a special place in my heart for that church, but it's not where God wants me to be anymore. Much prayer was involved, and not just from me. I've talked to all the youth group individually, and they seem to be taking it much better than I had assumed. Whichever church we go with, we will still be going to Ichthus; this is something I'm really excited about.
Megs and I are wonderful right now, and have been great for a long time. I love her so much, and I long for our life to truly begin together. She sold her house and will be moving in the near future. I need to be patient for God's timing, for it is better than my own. I think that the love of my life is definitely worth waiting for.
School is crazy, as I jet into the last few weeks of the semester. My brain is feeling fatigued, and I'll be happy when my load gets lightened.
Our CDs are finally done! And After the Fire "Turning Point" is now available for the general public. Please contact Tony, Ryan, or myself if you would like a copy. This disc and booklet has been the greatest art that I've ever been a part of. If you have supported us in the past, it is our gift to you. $5 for 30 minutes of music that I know you'll enjoy.
Throatpunch is going to be playing Ohio soon, and then later Illinois. Prayer is needed for safe traveling, especially for a certain sleepy Hodgins twin.
Purim was just celebrated at the church, and it was awesome! Mayor Hamm (spelling?) of Saginaw was there, along with some clergy members from the inner city. God is amazing! We also had a praise night last night, that turned into being a very intimate time. Thanks to all who participated, especially Tony, Ryan, Richard, Meghan, Christina, and of course Yanna-Lynn.
