Time for an update

The wedding is quickly approaching. I'm a little nervous. But I'm more surprised at how everything is falling into place. We bought Vini's ticket yesterday. We have our rings ordered and my goal is to also order the invitations this week.

But those are just SOME of the preparations I've been doing for the wedding. I have since joined a gym and hired a dietician. And fired a dietician. He handed me my diet and I said "Yeah Riiight...." Let me give you an idea of what this imbecil calls "recipes."

Monday breakfast at 6:30 am: 2 spoonfuls of oatmeal in a glass of water left to sit the night before (so that the oatmeal is softer and easier to swallow)

Thursday snack: One ricecake.

Friday dinner: Chicken broth.

SOME of the things (not on this list) sound good. He recommends fish and rice..which I really like. But I don't need a dietician to tell me that's good for me. When he asked me what fruits I liked I said "bananas!" He gasped and said, "You can't eat bananas. They have WAY too much sugar." That's when I knew I had to ditch him. Anyone who knows me, knows I eat bananas like a monkey. I think it has to do with the fact that we always had fresh bananas from our banana trees in Colombia the first 7 years of my life. So when he gave me my diet the next day with ONE banana allowed a week (on Saturday - as if it were a prize!!!!!!) I had to keep myself from slapping him. Oh...and no Coke. At all. Buh bye, dietician...buh-bye.

So now I'm just going to watch what I eat starting TOMORROW (I just ate the head off a chocolate bunny. jeje)

EEK! Look at that! I usually delete my typos when I catch them. But "jeje" is laughing in Spanish! I laugh in Spanish now!!! jejejejeje

Oh...in other news. My iPod has been pushed aside for a while. I realized that I've been here for almost a year and, after I quit working at the bar, I never listen to the radio. So I bought a little radio at the Chinos.

It's just SOO gosh darn cute, doncha know! And Radio Tres has a radio program called "Tropico Topico" (Tropic Topic) which is non-stop Brazilian music. So this thing is coming in handy for more than just Catalan bands!

I was going to upload more pics on Yahoo...but that's just gonna have to wait. I'm beat and have a LONG day tomorrow. I just picked up another two-hour class!!!
