Anger is like a volcano. It gets hot, but if we put a lid on it, it subsides.
Sadness is like an endless pit. No matter how much dirt is shoveled in; it feels just as cold and empty. The only thing to do is to walk around.
Happiness is like the mountain summit. We climb up high and come back down, but we're always free to return.
Contentment is like a jacuzzi. We slide in and surrender to the comforting warmth. I want to enjoy that soothing sense of security forever. I think being truly content is probably the most difficult.
There should be more analogies, but I'm going to meet up with family friends. I'm so excited; I havent' seen them for a year.
