"girls just wanna have fun"
so... the last couple of days have been a really good time. driving up to new town with craig was SO much fun and his friends were so sweet to me. i feel really bad that we couldn't stay over because of my trip to unh the next day, but i think that they would've hated me by morning because i've been so stuffed up = i'm probably snoring like a wildebeest. unh the next day was a good time... i mean, i could've done without the six hours of driving, but the campus is absolutely gorgeous and the people seemed really nice... our tourguide was a little clueless, though. like, she knew the answers if it pertained to her, but if she didn't choose that option in college, she knew absolutely nothing about it. i heard "i'm sure you can find it online" about five million times. i really don't know which i like best, though... i wish there was a "preview" button in life... that way, i could see myself at each place and decide from there. oh, well... ari and i took our minds off serious decisions by having a day of girly fun = AMAZING. we are so awesome at being female... seriously, we should teach classes. we had our nails done (cheap-o painted on french manicures, not acrylic... but our hands are still adorable) and we got lost in new london... lol, i think ari and i are the most hopeless girls ever when it comes to finding places... we both do the "well, if i find a place that i KNOW, then it's good..." even if that place is 20 minutes out of the way. we went thrift store shopping... it was straight up teamwork... she found salvation army and i found goodwill... and we got cute shirts. then lunch at muddy waters where we got grilled cheese and i got a cinnamon bun that i really shouldn't have eaten... but it was SO GOOD. while at goodwill, we stopped into tj maxx and got more shirts... and i definitely got more underwear and a couple of bras... i really do have a problem. but they're not like victoria's secret prices, so i really don't feel guilty about spending so much money on underwear. shopping ended at ae with ari's 40% off coupon = amazing savings. love it. and then we went to FOUR places to find rent... it was finally at BJ's, so we christened her dvd with a viewing. it was such a great day... we still need to take our walk, though and work out and i still need to learn to rollarblade... oh, goodness, that should be an adventure. okay, well, nothing really happened for today save our "marathon" rehearsal for clarinet choir. that went okay, i guess... nothing spectacular, but it was a good time. i haven't had d'angelo's in forever, and i must say that it was fantastic. well, that about wraps it up. love you all!
