Curfew: No
Driving other people: No
Why? I'm a good driver, I don't do anything that would merit getting pulled over and I've managed to avoid causing any accidents, so I guess I just think that it's such a small personal risk that I'm taking, and it makes life easier and more fun.
Do your parents enforce these rules?
No, not effectively anyway.
Have you ever been cited, pulled over, or in any way punished for disobeying these rules? Explain.
No.
You may or may not know that the California DMV recently (January 2006) extended the 6 month rule to 1 year, and the curfew from 12-5 to 11-5. Does this affect you?
Yes.
Did you obey the new rules?
I would still be driving people illegally under the old rules, so no I am not obeying the new rules.
Do you think these rules are a good idea for teens? Explain.
I can't really think of a good argument against them. Whenever I break the rules I know that there's a chance I'll be cited, and I accept that risk because I do think that the law is probably justifiable.
