Hello 2006.
So far my Winter Break has been alcohol fueled & full of disorder. I've inbibed more whiskey than I care to remember (or am able to)... & right now is the second time in the last week that I'm not drunk/hungover. I'm terrible, I know.
My Christmas was enjoyable & I got so so many wonderful gifts it makes my head spin. Collectively, I received 2 purses (Coach & EckoRed), 2 perfumes (Chanel & Burberry), 10+ dvds, a couple cds, lots of clothes/undies (which I've been showing off lately...), 2 pairs of boots (black & brown), 2 books (Black Dahlia Avenger & Dead and Buried), & a few gift cards. I'm a very lucky girl.
Aside from my unbridled drinking & being a spoiled brat, life's been full of surprises. Most of my time has been spent with my brother, Jess & Kove. I got another new tattoo, which makes for 3 flowers (orange Gardenia, redish/purple Rose & a light purple Dahlia) on my right arm + the outline of New Jersey. My half sleeve is coming together nicely.
For the new year, I spent my evening with my brother, Jess, Tiffany, Aaron & Jenna at Aaron's house. Not so eventful, but an ok night for the most part. We watched Four Brothers & it was the highlight of my night. Garrett Hedlund is gorgeous.
My parents have been away since last Wednesday, which is the reason for all the alcohol abuse. Wednesday was also my little brother Joseph's 18th birthday. I can't believe he's so old, but time just keeps flying. Speaking of which, I am unsure of when my parents plan on returning home, so tonight I am doing lots of laundry & cleaning up the house. It's something I should have done all day, but my hangover was too intense & instead my brother & I lounged & watched Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Then Jess & Kove came over & we watched Grind & Harold and Kumar.
I've been extremely lucky & not forced to work much lately. Thankfully, Thursday morning my boss called & told me that there was nothing going on at work & that she didn't need me to come in. What's even better is that I still don't have work again tomorrow & only have to go in Tuesday & Thursday night, then Saturday morning. SWEET.
I guess I'll wrap things up now & go fold some more laundry. & wow, I just realized it's not 2am... its 3. I should get to sleep. Goodnight all.
