Moshi mo : Chapter 8
“Good work for today, guys!” Koyama have said, as he walked behind the back stage, and greeted the other juniors. “KOYAMAMA! Good work too!” Riko have screamed, as she ran up to pounce onto Koyama. Koyama giggled, as he hugged the girl into his embrace.
“Good work today too, Akira-chan,” Tegoshi have muttered, and walked over to where Aiko was sitting, and gently patting her head. Aiko have only blushed away, her heart doing some screams and shouting.
“Hey, let’s go for a buffet dinner, to celebrate Ryuu and Akira first appearance on television,” Hikaru suggested, which earned him a glare from Yabu. Yabu was tired, and wanted to go home and rest, but thanks to Hikaru, he will need to go to the dinner. Hikaru have looked over to Yabu, and sticked out his tongue, and mouthed a ‘Sorry’.
Riko jumped up and down, as she exclaimed. Hurriedly, she rushed over to Aiko, and held her hands over Aiko’s arms. “Akira, I’m excited! Let’s change and go and grabbed some food! I’m famished!”
Aiko could only shake her head, wondering how in the world is Riko so active.
Ten of the members, including Koyama, Tegoshi, and the other four members of NEWS will be joining for the dinner. Nakamaru was meeting the other KAT-TUN members for dinner, thus he will make it up other day.
“Akira-chan, what’s your age this year?” Tegoshi have asked him, with his hand slung over Aiko’s shoulder. Aiko was walking, with her hands in front of her. “Twenty,”
Riko was walking along with Koyama on her right, and Yuto and Yamada on her left. She has constantly looked up at Koyama, and Koyama have secretly dragged her towards him. “Koya-mama?” Riko asked curiously, wondering what Koyama was doing.
“Shh, don’t disturb Yuto and Yamada,” Koyama said, as he looked down onto Riko, and winked at her. Riko had an evil smirk on her face as she understood what Koyama have said.
Once they reached the restaurant, Masuda, Yamapi, Ryo and Shige were already outside the restaurant waiting for the fourteen of them to arrive. As they entered, they realized that Koyama have already reserved a room, so that everyone can stay together during the dinner.
Aiko have looked over to Riko, and an evil grin appeared on her face. Instantly, she knew what Riko was thinking. Aiko followed Riko’s steps, as she pulled Tegoshi’s sleeve, which made the older boy looking down to her. She had pointed to a seat, and urged Tegoshi to settle down. Aiko then rushed over to Masuda, and pulled his sleeve as well.
“Masuda-senpai, can you please sit there?” she asked, as she pointed towards the empty seat beside Tegoshi. Masuda nodded his head, totally not knowing of Aiko’s intention.
Aiko smirked at her successful plan, as she looked over to Riko, who have also made her two favourite pairings in JE to sit together. Namely, Ryosuke and Yuto, and right beside them, was Koyama, and Shige. Aiko have spotted Ryo and Yamapi sitting apart from each other, and Riko had seen it too.
With the help of Riko, Aiko have hurriedly snatched the seat that Ryo wanted to seat, and Riko sat beside it. Ryo etched his eyebrows, and finally settled down in the seat beside Yamapi. Ryo could only shrug his shoulders.
Riko looked over, and she sighed in relieve when she realized the other JUMP members have coincidentally seat according to the pairings. On the table she’s seating, was Tegomass, Ryopi, and TakaChii.
Right at the other table, were YamaJima, Koyashige, InooDai and YabuHika.
Riko smiled at her achievement, and Aiko could only nod her head.
The others were talking excitedly, when Koyama have stood up and went over to the side of the room, and pulled a curtain. Revealing behind, were instruments and a microphone on a mini-stage. “I thought that we would need some entertainment!”
The others cheered. Everybody was hyped up, even though it’s only a dinner. Riko looked over at Aiko, as she hurriedly stood up, and dragged Aiko up to stage.
Inoo was now leaning towards Daiki, as he whispered into his boyfriend’s ears. “Ne, I wonder what they are going to showcase this time.” Daiki was looking over to Inoo, “What’s wrong?”
“Don’t you think they’re talented? First, they did the acrobat dancing and original dance chorographies. Next was Riko’s original song. And now, I wonder,” Inoo whispered, smiling. Daiki just giggled softly, and looked back to the stage.
Riko tapped the microphone, and started speaking into the microphone. “Um ... Good evening!”
“Ryuu desu! I just want to introduce to you guys the talents Akira have, because I’m not the only one that knows how to compose songs!” Riko announced her hand up in the air. Aiko who was standing beside her, looked towards Riko, and widened her eyes, as she constantly shake her head, and tried to stop her. But it was too late, Riko have announced it.
“Let’s have Akira to perform a self-modified original on the piano! He’s going to sing too, his original song.” Riko spoke into the microphone, earning a slap on her head by Aiko.
Koyama have clapped his hand, and the others followed. Tegoshi looked over to Aiko, “Akira-chan, gambare!”
Aiko could only drop her shoulders and sighed. She made a mental note to kill Riko once they reached home.
Walking over to the piano, she quietly pulled out the seat, and settled down. Riko had alrady arranged the microphone close to Aiko’s mouth, making sure that it captured her voice perfectly.
Aiko took a deep breath, before she spoke into the microphone.
“It’s bad, but please listens to the end,”
Nobody made any noise, as they waited for Aiko to continue speaking. “So, please listen to my original song, ‘Kimi wa suki,’”
Aiko cracked her fingers, and slowly placed it onto the keynotes. She moved her fingers gently, and smoothly, making sure she pressed the keynotes accurately. She have closed her eyes by then, and imagined the notes flowing in front of her eyes. Riko had also returned to her seat, and closed her eyes, enjoying the melody coming out from the piano.
When Riko know that it was a cue for Aiko to sing, she opened her eyes. As expected, Aiko sang, her voice echoing around the whole room, drunking all the beings inside.

The soft note continued to come from the piano, but her singing stopped. This song was somehow melancholic, and nostalgic. It makes the other JE members inside the room to think how could one come out with such a ... sorrow song?
The last note was pressed, and Aiko have lifted up her hand. Riko stood up, and clapped her hands. Soon, the others followed, and the whole room erupted with claps. Yuto by then have grabbed onto Ryousuke’s hands, and slowly whispered to him. “I feel that I need to go back to improve on my drum skills, I can’t lose to him,”
Ryousuke laughed at Yuto’s determination. “I love Yuto-kun just the way you are,”
Tegoshi had come up, and patted Aiko’s head. “Akira-chan, you’re awesome! Which planet are you seriously from?” Tegoshi stopped, and glanced over to Riko. “Ryuu, you too!”
Riko and Aiko looked at each other, and giggled.
After the dinner, all of them have spilt up to go back to their individual homes. YamaJima waved and walked to their apartment together, and Riko and Aiko too. “See you guys next week, ne?” Hikaru greeted, as he waved his hand, walking off.
Chinen had come over, saying goodbye to Riko and Aiko as well, and walked off with Takaki. Just when they were about to leave, Riko have realized that they needed more bandage, because the recent practices have made them used too many rolls of bandages.
“We need to stock up, yo!” Riko said, as she hurriedly pulled Aiko off to the department store. “Ai-“ Riko paused, and looked around. She bended down and whispered, “I think it’s safer to be called Akira,”
Aiko giggled, and nodded her head. “Akira! We need new clothing too! Come on!”
Riko have grabbed a pile of clothing, and shoved it towards Aiko. Aiko could swore that the big stack of clothing have made her almost collapsing onto the ground.
When it comes to shopping, Riko was probably the number one maniac.
When they were shopping halfway, a voice was heard. “Eto~”
Both of them turned around, and they saw three girls standing in front of them. Riko looked at them, “Are you guys Johnny?” one of the girl asked. Riko and Aiko looked at each other blankly, and nodded their head.
“Are both of you Takasugi Ryuu and Sugihara Akira?” another girl asked as her eyes lit up.
They nodded their head again.
“We ... We’re your fans! Both of you are awesome in the Shonen Club filming, and we fell for both of you once you’ve started singing and dancing!” Three of them bowed in unison as they ‘confessed’, and Riko and Aiko have practically looked at each other, their mouth wide opened, and Aiko dropped all the clothing onto the floor which was initially on her hand.
