Hi, fellow Takarazuka fans. I've long been a lurker and never thought I'd get to Japan. I did, though, and I'm in Tokyo until Saturday morning. I may never get to Japan again.
My number one site to visit in Japan was a Takarazuka show, and I had settled on Toujitsuken as the way to go, since it did not require knowing Japanese or having a Japanese address.
Imagine my horror, then, when I realized that Like A Black Panther was a farewell show! I don't know how to get tickets for that.
The one writeup I saw said "Call the box office" to learn how to get standing room tickets, but Japanese, I don't have it. (I stopped by in person to case the joint and buy tickets this evening, but didn't realize it was a farewell tour at the time. I asked the people at the box office an unrelated question, and hand gestures on both sides were needed to help communicate.)
If I call them in the morning will they be able to give me a useful answer in English, however choppy?
Do I just show up at the box office at 10 am and ask them what to do?
Do any of you know what to do and how to buy tickets for the show? Or when the shows are?
Help!
(Yes, I'm even willing to buy from scalpers. It's still better than never seeing Takarazuka live!)
ETA: The one guide I read said the writer's scalping advice was probably outdated, so really, I have no idea how to do that either.
