There is rehearsal footage of both. As for *that* scene, it's an edited version - I know there's full version of the rehearsal of that scene online, but that was a while back and I'm not sure if it has since been taken down.
Also in TDK, the sound was removed for Komu's solo dance and for part of the beginning of *that* scene, but it starts up with Keiko-sama singing at the beginning of that scene.
I recommend getting it. Though I still don't understand Blue Bird, TDK is too much of an amazing revue to pass up. If you don't mind the squee, I wrote a review a while back and so has galynthiahere. (The latter might be locked though.)
Argh...I'm really going to miss the sound for Komu's solo dance...the sky stage TV version of that scene was online a while back so I know what music should be playing, but still...*sigh* BTW, I read your review and...I think this needs to be bought, even if I only really care for the revue. xD Thanks for helping. :D ...Oh, and just to verify: is it true that there are no alternate camera angles? You wrote something like that in your review...
I own the DVD, and there's no alternative camera angles on mine. But I also chime in the idea that it's worth buying, because most of the music is there, it's just a moment lost for Komu's opening dance with the couch.
Also, isn't it only the first half of Komu's solo dance that's silent? I can't find my DVD right now, but I want to say that the second half of that dance solo had music. Then a moment of silence, then Keiko-sama sings and Tom comes in...
But still...I *loved* her solo dance. T_T Oh well, I'm being too sensitive again. xD And I'll buy it anyway.^^ I wonder what the music is called they had to cut for copyright reasons...I've never heard it anywhere.
