Rose of Versailles on DVD?

So I'm thinking of getting a copy of a Rose of Versailles DVD, since it is after all a classic and I haven't seen it before, but I'm starting to get very confused. Are the original Rose of Versailles Takarazuka and the Marie Antoinette/Fersen versions completely different shows? Are there any other versions? *head hurts*

And of all the different versions, what would you recommend to a Rose of Versailles newbie?
