Another yesterday entry...
Night before last, as I was fucking around on LJ, I happened to stumble across Matt on his instant messenger... We started talking for a bit, and over the time span that we did talk, he ended up telling me that he was a father, then taking it back (loser :P), that he had an Escalade, that Jen was 6 mos. preggers, but I caught him in that one... and I can't remember what else he got me with. Of course, Matt was totally fucking with me... because he knows that sometimes I take things seriously, and I took all of that seriously.
Sooo... we went and met yesterday at 4 pm. I was talking to Mandy about Chris Reynolds when Matt pulled up in his beat up Izuzu Rodeo. So much for having an Escalade... heh. So we decided to go to China Doll, which was already my unanimous decision... I just had to drag him there... lol. So we started catching up on what everyone that we went to school with is doing. I told him how Jenn Cole works at IHOP here in Hammond, and he told me about all of his goofy totally fucked up friends that we went to h.s. with. I told him about life up here in boring ol' Hammond... and I told him that he and Jen should come visit... I mean she lives about 35 min. away in Destrehan.
Then we went to the mall. Brandy works at Baker's, so we stopped there, and I tried to see if she'd recognize me... lol, I walked by her with my light blue sweater pulled halfway over my face, and right behind Matt... lol. I pulled down the jacket and looked right at her, and she freaked out and was like, "Oh my god, I didn't even recognize you!" LMAO. Then she tried to get my broke ass to buy shoes. Ha! Me, buy shoes? Psssh. Me buy anything? Pssh again. :P
Then we spent about 30 min. in Suncoast... they have this huge Kill Bill Bride action figure. Comes with the sword and everything... I was about to scalp my car for it, but that wouldn't have worked... lol. Gotta get back home.
After all the fun that I had with Matt (thank you, dude, for making my day so cool... you simply must come up here and see podunkville... :D And bring Jen, too... the only time I met her was really not categorized as meeting her at all!) I decided to go run over to my dad's house. That's when I noticed that my change oil light is coming on AGAIN! I just put another quart of oil in there about two weeks ago. I mean, working for Domino's doesn't quite help, because I'm sure it burns oil... not to mention the frequent trips to Jefferson and the Wank as of late. No, I really hope there's not an oil leak... that would SUCK. So, when I stopped to get Dad a Diet Caffeine Free Pepsi, I got myself a quart of oil. I'm pretty sure the freezing weather isn't helping much at all. :S
Dad and I watched Bill Cosby and a few other things... then we talked until 1 am. I know that he needs me right now... I miss him so much sometimes, and he's one of my best friends now that I'm older. The poor guy is lonely with Dina spending days at work, evenings with her dad, and nights with her sister. Her dad is getting pretty close to the end... and her sister, Janis, just lost her husband to suicide... so they need Dina just as much as Dad needs me. And I try to be there... sometimes it doesn't work, but I try anyway. I think Dad and I talk at least once every two days, if not more. The most we've gone lately is a week. And now he has so many things that they think could be wrong with him... REALLY WRONG. Like, they think he might be having mini heart attacks, and his blood sugar is all wrong... besides that point, he's just not doing very well... and that worries me. I love my Dad, and I just got him back... please don't take him away!
I have to go to work, dammit. :P
