A little tiring history behind my first AMV.
Over & Over (Three Days Grace) - Zero(-Yuuki) (Vampire Knight)
Yes, today has really been a long day for me >_____<
First of all, there was no internet until around 4pm ;_; SIGH.
So I spent the whole time making an AMV. And I finished it! I'm actually watching it now 8DDD
But CyberLink PowerDirector was being a skilled bitch. I dunno why with the weird combination of words but anyways.
I just downloaded the program a really long time ago and now it's activated with a keygen ehem 8D
Then I started doing it. the AMV. Yes, I'm a Kaname fan and also a Kaname-Yuuki fan but why did I make ZeroYuuki?
-The song matched it well.
-It was the theme of one of the requests 8D
So there.
I tried it out. It was kind of hard at first (and the effects were TEMPTING) but I got use to it.
BUT THE PLAYBACK SUCKS. YES IT DOES. THE TIMING EFFING CHANGES. UGH.
But it was nice.
BUT ARGH.
The autosave worked, yes. But when I was almost done, it hung. And it didn't work. And the project was gone. Deleted. WTFH. I. WAS FREAKING OUT..
FREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKING OUUUUUUUUT.
!!!
So I searched using the search function, then the only thing I found was the file I was looking for... that had one more extension :| the extension is .pds, but it was pds.bak in the search results, so I presumed it was the autosave file.
I renamed it taking out the bak 8DDD IT WORKED I TELL YOU. IT WORKED!!!!
REJOICE REJOICE.
So I was bugging
black_cat2202 to celebrate with me in Skype (yes internet came back) . but she was gone. So I tried to open my AMV again. you know what happened? POWERDIRECTOR FROZE BADLY. My screen was GRAY. TOTALLY GRAY. then the title bar appeared like Windows 98 style. and my cursor (hourglass) was at the middle.
So I shut down my laptop. And it started verifying files blahblah on my external hard drive. Which took so long I wanted to freak out again. ;_;!!!
Then when it was done BC was finally there. Yes, she was!! 8DDD
And so she consoled me and I told her the whole story and I tried saving it as avi.
It saved, yes.
3.33GB,
WTFH.
I CAN'T UPLOAD THAT MUCH ON YOUTUBE. AND I WAS ONLY TESTING.
So I tried mediaconverter. It took forever so I aborted. I tried PowerDirector again and tried to save as wmv. It was still slow.
So I resorted to the oh-so hated and malfunctioning Windows Movie Maker. That was my last chance.
So I imported the 3.33GB avi there. It froze a little, but it worked.
It. actually worked.
So I put the video into the timeline.
IT worked.
BC and I were rejoicing.
Then I saved as movie file.
It was still working.
Well, in the end everything worked.
Yes it worked.
IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So now I'll get to my precious AMV and finalize it 8DDDDDDDDDDD
