Chapter 5 : Knight in Shining Armour
“Why don’t you have sex with me and we’ll see if you’re gay or not.” Guy was obviously pleased with wataru’s response, he didn’t care how, he just wanted to get into this little cutie’s pants. (What a jerk!!)
“No. I’m not sleeping with some loser just to check my sexual preference!!”
“That wasn’t a question.” Guy replied grabbing Wataru’s arm and pulling him off towards an empty classroom. O.O
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING ? LET GO OF ME!!” Wataru was panicking, this hasn’t happened before, usually people backed off, well usually he punched the lights out of them first, but he didn’t get an opportunity!! Wataru slammed his fist into guys rock hard muscles with little results, Wataru was seriously in panic mode, each step he was dragged got him closer the the classroom, he looked around for help but everybody was looking away, clearly not wanting to get in the way, though some of them were looking at him with lust ?
In his panic, Wataru bit down on the hand holding him, “ son of a bitch!!” Guy turned around with his hand raised and brought it down on Wataru’s face. Wataru’s eyes widened in panic, and closed quickly awaiting the blow……
“What do you think you’re doing ?” Wataru heard a cold yet familiar voice and opened his eyes to see Kazuki, he was slightly taken aback at the sight of Guys wrist caught in Kazuki’s hand and the fierce look on Kazuki’s face which oddly suited him though the smile looked equally better, he was really happy that Kazuki got angry for his sake too, wait… where did that come from o.O
“Let him go.” Kazuki said sternly while pointing his gaze at the hand gripping Wataru’s arm. “No.” Guy replied back non too happily at the fact that his meal was being interrupted, rudely too. Instead, he tightened his grip on Wataru’s arm causing Wataru to wince, that’s gonna leave a bruise, Wataru thought, already getting over the fact that he was one millimetre away from getting raped!! Kazuki’s eyes narrowed and he tightened his grip on guys arm till Wataru could hear the bones creak, Guys screamed in pain, letting go of Wataru’s arm who backed off.
“Good. Now be a good boy and walk away.” Kazuki was above pissed, he was furious, and his expression said it all. Guys pulled his arm back which Kazuki gladly let go and fled down the hallway screaming obscenities at Kazuki. His fans were even more in love with him than before, who knew that Kazuki was so heroic (*swoons*).
Wataru absentmindedly rubbed his wrist which was starting to hurt really bad, guys must have gripped it harder than he thought he noted seeing the forming blue-back bruises. “Thanks.” he mumbled out to Kazuki who gave him an award winning smile in return along with a “your welcome”. I just died and when to heaven, Wataru thought, could anyone really look that perfect. He immediately collected himself to stop himself from drooling, and also he was not supposed to stand out!! He was supposed to be the quiet little student that people ignored, well, doing good so far, Wataru thought sarcastically.
While Wataru was totally spacing out, Kazuki was about to kill somebody for the bruises on his perfect little Wataru~
“Does it hurt ?” He managed to voice out between clenched teeth, he really didn’t want to scare Wataru, this was only their second meeting.
“No…” Wataru replied shyly with a slight blush on his pale cheeks. Kawaii~, Kazuki thought ^.^
“Come on.”
“Eh ?” Wataru squeaked out when his other uninjured arm was getting pulled at and he was lead through the corridor like a little puppy tailing its owner. Kazuki was much gentler than that jerk guys and Wataru’s eyes unconsciously softened to stare at that broad back.
“I’m taking you the infirmary, that bruise is starting to look ugly.” Kazuki looked back at Wataru and gave him a small smile causing Wataru’s heart aflutter.
“It’s really not that bad, it’s just a bruise, it’ll go away soon.” Wataru protested pulling his arm back but not roughly since he was actually quite happy about where this was going.
“Wrong. First, it is bad. Two, it’s not just a bruise, it’s a swollen bruise. Three, it will go away once we treat it.” Kazuki retorted leaving no space for arguments. Well, let’s just say Wataru kept quiet and followed willingly after that, though his mind was probably drifting off again, Wataru just couldn’t keep his mind focused on one thing for long, kind of like a puppy Kawa-chan said before, Kazuki’s an exception though~~ Wataru mused and mentally shook his head clearing that thought.
Whoosh!
“Here we are.” Kazuki opened the sliding door leading to the infirmary and dragged Wataru in, the smell of medicine and insecticides rushed at him and Wataru cringed back, he never really liked hospitals in the first place. Wataru’s mind wandered off for a second towards a distinct memory before being pulled back by reality by a push on his shoulders causing him to step forward and falling flat on the infirmary bed. Oof!
Kazuki raised an amused eyebrow at that; Wataru really was clumsy, well cutely clumsy. He was a little worried over the look on Wataru’s face though, it oddly reminded him of a person relieving bad memories. This was bad, first he fell in love with him, next he rescued him and now he’s worried about him, he was really falling head over heels over this little kid.
Wataru picked himself up and sat on the edge of the bed while Kazuki rummaged through the cupboards before appearing with a first-aid box. Wataru stared at him while he rummaged through the box, taking out a cooling salve.
“Hand.”
Wataru immediately offered up his hand. Kazuki feeling very playful at that time decided to try something~
“Shake.” He said putting his hand palm skywards in front of Wataru.
Wataru cocked his head sideways and instinctively placed his hand on Kazuki’s before shaking it up and down much like a puppy would.
“Good boy.” Kazuki smiled triumphantly and petted Wataru on the head imagining him with little puppy ears and a fluffy tail~ Kawaii~
What happened immediately registered through Wataru’s head and he pulled his hand back, slapping the hand on his head away and pouted angrily. “I’m not a dog!!” He retorted, shoulders tensing up.
“Of course your not~” Kazuki said back smoothly before petting Wataru on the head again, Wataru was too cute, now he reminded him of an agitated little puppy~
Wataru pouted again and decided to drop it at that, the petting was really nice too, made him feel nice and warm, like a puppy~ Wataru frowned at that thought and swatted the hand away.
“Hand.”
“I’m not falling for that again.” Wataru angrily.
Seeing the look on Wataru’s face, Kazuki chuckled, “I’m just going to put the salve on it.”
“…Oh…” Wataru couldn’t help the embarrassed blush on his face, he immediately stuck his hand out, which Kazuki took gently and started applying the salve. Wataru’s blush deepened at the tingly sensation at his touch, a million questions raced through his mind, all accompanied with several question marks. He had never felt this way before as long as he could remember and it was making him feel weird, not in a bad way but still weird.
“Hehe~~ I never thought I would be rescued like this. Guess that makes you my knight in shining armour.” Wataru giggled out in a way to direct his thoughts else where. He immediately turned as bright red as a tomato though at his comment. Couldn’t I have thought of something better to say!! Wataru mentally scolded himself.
Kazuki smirked at him, “Hmm~ if I’m your knight in shining armour then that makes you the princess. Neh ? O-hime-sama.”
Wataru’s blush deepened by ten folds, he didn’t even think anybody could get this red. He kept silent though, he didn’t trust himself to let out a full sentence, the best he could manage was probably a squeak.
Kazuki smiled up at him, “All done. How does it feel ?” Kazuki said standing up and putting the things away. Wataru looked up, the blush fading into a light pink, “Better. Not that swollen anymore, should be fine by tomorrow.” He said checking his hand out, it was true, the dark blue-black had faded to a light blue-green, even the medical facilities were great here, this place was way above his level. His mood instantly dropped several metres remembering what Keiichi said, “…make sure no one knows how you made it here, they tend to look down on “peasants”…”… Would Kazuki think of him that way ? That was a question whose answer Wataru really didn’t want to know.
Feeling the sudden change in Wataru’s mood, Kazuki walked towards him, he surprised Wataru by pulling his chin up till they looked in each others eyes. And smiling softly, Kazuki leaned down and moved his lips to Wataru’s forehead, time stopped for the both of them at that moment. And reality came crashing back when Kazuki pulled back and looked down at Wataru before finally letting him go. After finally comprehending what just happened, Wataru turned crimson once again, and fled towards the door.
Kazuki didn’t make a move to follow, he had expected that, well… he had actually expected a slap too, but this was much better. With a smug grin, Kazuki left the infirmary, he had other chances to chase down his little puppy anyway~~ ; )
