I think you should; there'll be some butthurt from some fans, but I think the majority of the fandom will appreciate it.
I'm actually really ashamed that I ever found it even slightly amusing. At least I realised that it really was not funny at all, but some people are still doing it, and it's genuinely ridiculous. And I can't believe a fan actually shouted it at him. A lot of the English fans were arguing that he smiled about it, but I was like, "What the fuck else would he have done? He's a rookie idol: he can't stand up for himself quite just yet."
Jongin hate genuinely makes no sense. It's just. I want to shake them because come on, he's so endearing.
JOONMYUN IS BEAUTIFUL. I feel so bad sometimes, because you can look at him and tell that he's starting to feel insecure about his position in the group, and I wish all the suho lovers of the world could just gather and tell him how much we fucking love him, because he is amazing, end of.
I think that might be the biggest problem with EXO. The line between fandom and real life is too thin. People need to remember that yes, while it's perfectly alright to ship people in the group, you don't actually confront the actual group members about it. And you definitely don't get so involved that you start 'ship wars'. There needs to be a clearer divide between fandom and real life, because, at this rate, the fans are going to really hurt the boys. :(
I don't have many k-pop fans on my t-list, but they would agree with everything you've written here.
I think people mean it in a joking way, but from my point of view, it's just like the 'thehun' thing. It's hurtful, so don't do it. /:
ALSO, THANK YOU FOR ADDRESSING THE M VS K ISSUE. It genuinely makes no sense in my head, because I'm all, 'but they're the same group. they've said so themselves. fucking hell, they've cried tears over it.'
Yeah idc if they get butthurt or dub me a bitch or whatever but I don't really want internet attacks though I'll be laughing at them if they do because really.
One of my friends was exactly the same way too. I pointed it out to her and now she thinks it's really rude and offensive as well. AND OMG JUST BECAUSE HE SMILED DOESN'T MEAN SHIT. There could be lots of hidden emotions behind that smile that fans don't know about. And yes what other choice did he have? These are fans; he can't really tell them to fuck off and die like I would've wanted to.
I can't stand Jongin hate. Like wow you hate an 18 year old boy trying his best. If he says something douchey ok I can understand but nothing he has done warrants hate.
YES EXACTLY. It pains my soul to see poor Joonmyun sad and insecure about his position in the group and his abilities compared to the rest when he's fucking amazing and perfect. I really wish there were some way for me to show my appreciation and love because he needs to what a beautiful person he is. ; w ;
Ugh people just get caught in fandom sometimes that they forget about real life sometimes. It's really sad. And they don't realize what they say and do affects the boys.
I think all of my friends on my tlist, kpop and non would agree with me. Especially all of my older fans. This is not right AS HUMANS.
The K vs M thing has one of the biggest sources of my anger against fandom. Like why even go there they're the same group. And yes Tao is probably crying when realized people are fighting over M vs K!!
THANK YOU. I will gladly accept all those A+s ; w ;
