So much for socialism...
Our do-nothing Congress does something. Great. Unfortunately, captialism's woes cannot be cured by socialism, as we are seeing today. The Dow is under 10K for the first time since 2004. The markets are dropping right now as we speak.
Let the market correct itself. Get out of the way. Stop trying to meddle.
So do we give that 700 billion to bail out the homeowners instead? No. They signed contracts knowing full well what they were getting into. Read the fine print...ever heard of that?
Someone said something last week that you may remember about personal responsibility. That wasn't coming from the Democrats...it was from Governor Sarah Palin. Maybe people should be listening to someone who is middle class, instead of 2 candidates who feign to have ever been middle class.
Also, we now have middle schoolers being indoctrinated by teachers? Last time I checked, that was the perfect reason to fire them. Oh, wait, the schools are in the pocket of the unions, who want Obama elected. I see how it goes...indoctrination as instruction. That's what it's all about for the modern public school system.
