[he turns to actually look at the SFC now]

I'm not here to be emotional at you. I will ask a question ( Read more... )

Eiji was special, but that is because his force of will. It's not so much that he knew how to leave, but there were times when he knew it was time to leave and both he and Vatheon accepted this fact and made it so.

...Do you mean he sensed that he was about to leave and made peace with it, or that the coral itself sent him back when he needed to?

I can't be sure. Only idiots would know the answer to something like that.

You said he did what he needed to and moved on, and that he had some knowledge of needing to leave, without any idea of how that worked. Are you just disparaging your own intelligence?

I'm saying while yes, he did, to know the how is utterly impossible. It doesn't make logical sense and he wasn't the type to have clear rhyme or reason or anything he ever did. What I said was the most intelligent result I could get from the entire fiasco.

Okay. Um.

[An uncomfortable beat, as she considers how that would work, and then shrugs.]

What questions did you ask at the start of this message?

Wishes... I hope for my friends to continue living here together. Without killing each other, or any more of that unfortunate cycle.

[Answering the second question is more difficult, and she stops to ponder this for moment.]

[Is waiting patiently, thinking about her answer to the first question.]
