Listening to the Spice Girls again?
I couldn't be happier to be home! There's a bitter-sweetness about it because I know I will have to leave in a couple of weeks; leaving an environment in which you are surrounded by love is always the most difficlt part. But I am looking forward to next semester's projects. I am making art again, and that has been incredible.
I've been spending some good quality time with my friends and soaking up every minute of enjoyment I get to have with them. We had a holiday pot luck with my closest group of peeps this past weekend. All in all it was a really wonderful night, but unfortunately I ended up between a rock and a hard place when a breaking point between two friends happened. I won't go into detail, but I was put into a position of judgement...of choosing sides. I don't want to disappoint my friends, but I just can't jeopardize my relationships that way. And if I am expected to do so....I fear that a good friendship will be at it's end.
Anyway, on the bright side I had an absolutely beautiful anniversary. Ceilidh and I went to Del Dente's for the meal of the year. It was delicious and he was a perfect gentleman. It was all the glorious romantic stereotype you could ask for, with a champaign and a candle lit bubble bath in a gigantic porcelain bath tub. I have now officially celebrated my longest relationship to date with 2 years plus one day! *I never knew there was love...love like this before*
Anyway, i've got to go do the Christmas eve thing with my family, who is waiting to open a few presents with me right now.
We all drink gigantic glasses of wine and open one gift each.
Oh! I gotta go, i'm being hollered at!
