Having learned to drive standard has been increasingly useful. I feel like a real motorist when i'm driving stick.
For the first time, my dad felt confident enough in my gear-shifting skills to let me borrow the crappy red car...why would he ever doubt it?
I like driving around and singing Adam Sandler's "piece of shit car" song. I enjoy driving it for the "challenge" of driving standard and because it looks like a car I might actually own. Old Rusty, I love you.
In other news I will be making a trip to Barrie on Tuesday to check out my future living options. Hmm, where shall I call home for those fateful first 8 months? I'm a bit anxious, but once it's sorted out that should turn mostly into excitement.
I'll be doing some light housesitting this month. I can really use any extra cash, regardless of the amount...and I cherish seeing my furry loves. I got a new "contract" with some other folks through word of mouth from the farm...i'll be caring for a little Lhasa doggie named Mica in addition to my usual animal gang.
Wowza, my head is swirling. I haven't eaten red meat in a week and I just overloaded with a cadillac burger from Mel's. I'm officially strung out on beef.
*Note to self: You must start making lunches for work, buying take out is too expensive and unhealthy
