Or something. I'm from a galaxy where interplanetary travel is really normal. I'm from a specific planet, though for the past few years I haven't been on a single one for very long, and have stayed mostly on battle cruisers and freighters.

It's... space. There's no gravity and no day cycle, so trying to sleep is a headache.

Sleep when you're tired, eat when you're hungry. It's how we always did it when we were young.

...not too different from the living world, but with weirder people and you don't have to eat unless you've got spiritual power. But that's my world.

It's like...magic? No, not really-there's demon magic that you need spiritual power for, but I've got plenty of power and I'm shit at the magic-the kidou. It's just...power. Energy. You can make stuff happen. If you're a shinigami like me, we...bond with our swords, cuz they have souls too, and can get seriously destructive. But you can have the power and not be a shinigami. I never really had to put it in words before.

...but as for what we actually do with the spiritual power-us shinigami, we send dead souls from the living world to Soul Society and take down the Hollows that eat 'em. And other crap.
