Ash's hair (technically Taiwan related because said hair is IN Taiwan)

Warning: in this post I will probably only talk about my hair. If you don't care about my hair, then you probably shouldn't read this, because at the end you'll be like, "I don't give a shit about Ashlie's hair. Why did she just waste precious minutes of my life with that shitfest?" Okay, you've been warned.

Now that the only reader is me checking my own post, and possibly Tim because I made him read it, let me just say that my hair completely BLOWS right now. When we first came to Taiwan, I was still dying my hair black and I had bangs, but I was already in the process of growing it out some because I was watching a lot of Charmed and I was like, "Wow, the Halliwells have such long and pretty hair. I bet if my hair were long it would look like that, too!" WRONG. I stopped dying it shortly after we came here because 1. I have no time to dye it and 2. I can't really find black dye here because everyone's hair is ALREADY black. Anyway, I figured since I was halfway around the world from home, this was as good of a time as any to let my hair do the "transition" thing, so I stopped doing anything to it except washing it.

Fast-forward a year. My hair is pretty damn long now...it's to the middle of my back. My bangs are now past my chin. It's also been returned to its glorious, ugly, and boring as hell natural color of light brownishblondish. It's literally like, 107 degrees here everyday (no joke - check weather.com sometime), so my heinously thick and long hair is absolutely miserable, so I wear it in a half-ponytail EVERY SINGLE DAY. I really want to get a cut and dye job when I get home - I'm thinking maybe an inch or two past my chin and a chestnut brown. I feel like I've outgrown black. However, there are two things holding me back: 1. Since I have so much damned hair, I want to donate it to locks of love, and I'm not sure if I have a 12 inch ponytail yet. 2. I was trying to have long hair for when I get married so my hair stylist will have a blank slate to work with because it's hard to do stuff with short hair. I just don't know when the hell I'm actually getting married.

Remember senior year of college when I had cute short hair and bangs? I WANT IT BACK.

Moral of the story: Ashlie's hair is way too thick to be worn long. Ashlie should never have hair past shoulder-length. Also, Ashlie should never let her hair be its natural color because it's fugly.

FIN.
