a disappointing service
I have just come back from Midnight Mass. It made me really sad because I felt absolutely nothing. I said all the words along and knew the prayers and whatever, but I didn't FEEL anything. It might have helped that the vicar was a bit shit. No, to be honest she was fine, I just didn't like the way she took the service.
I went to the children's service in the afternoon as well. The way she spoke to the children (or should I say AT the children), it really irritated me. If you're doing a children's service, then you should learn how to speak with children. I don't know. It just made the whole thing seem fake and wrong.
I had been really looking forward to feeling nice about Christmas but her service just left me feeling empty and cold.
