News for July, including a date for the barbecue
July Writers' Night is this coming Saturday, July 18, at Sheryl & Shan's in Federal Way. Writer's Night is open to anyone who is willing to constructively critique the stories of the evening. Dinner is from 6:30-ish on. The reading/critique part of the evening starts at 7:00. Email Gene (info{at}taipanproject{dot}org) for address and directions.

The Tai-Pan barbecue and Croquet Extravaganza is Sunday, August 16, 2pm at Edd & Amy's in West Seattle.
September Writers' Night is Saturday, September 19, currently scheduled for Mark's in Federal Way.
October Writers' Night is Saturday, October 17, currently scheduled for Gene & Michael's in Ballard.
There have been a few regular attendees and some less regular attendees who have inquired about hosting, so the schedule may change. We'll try to to better at letting you know.

We continue to inch our way closer to publishing the next issue of the fanzine. Gene has been scanning a lot of art lately.
