Secrets Found Inside: Poetry[2]

Weep,

And I’ll watch you bleed

You know they can

Hearts of memories

Oh darling,

They’re hung from hooks

Hide,

And I’ll lull the setting

Dragonflies of electric blue

Lavender and vines

Hide-and-seek melody

Shadows mean there’s light

Stop time,

And I’ll give escape

Azure mist falls heavy

Ripples in black pools

Listen for a sweet perfume

What do you mean you’re blind?

Now,

Cover your eyes child,

Can’t you see they’re bleeding?

Composed impression

A mother’s embrace

Like soft spoken pictures stare

Breathe,

And I’ll let you die

False Obsession.

Lie inside your mind

The truth is far from touch

What secrets are you telling?

If I could get to the point, I’m sure that I would. But nothing’s ever that simple.
