I wish I could please you like I did to other lovers. I wish that I could be the one that you could tell all your secrets to, but I could not possibly be that person. It may seem like destiny or fate, both of ours intertwined, but it is an illusion, like the stopping of time. Deceit has ruined us, made us act foolish, question our judgment and statements that we have promised ourselves to keep true to. Who wants to break an angels heart, so fragile and glowing, for fear of being punished for not feeling so lucky. You may be special, we may be special, but unfortunately I do not see it that way, just a simple friendship that will never go astray.
