-Winter has never been in our favor.
-All the cigarettes I smoke don't smoke him away, and yet I keep trying.
--I wish they worked because I'd be done by now.
-You can only say something is wrong twice before you have to realize its right, and too late.
-I go through the motions of everyday and everything seems so pointless.
-Yet, with him all the pointless motions had a point.
-Like in the way he made me awkward.
--Now I'm just awkward.
-I've experienced loneliness before, but nothing like the loneliness of losing a best friend.
-And the memories won't blur, because nothing has ever been so vivid.
-Hopeless optimist until it doesn't apply anymore.
--Here we are again.
-Feels like the same place as last time but,
--A little more under our belts.
--A little more to remember.
