(no subject)
so to begin the day, we got up ass early and had to leave. it sucked. and then on the way there, my dad got pulled over for speeding and got a ticket. that was actually really funny to me. the only bad thing was that the car got really hot and my dad was trying to be friends with the cop. so that was the first story. and we havent even made it half way yet.
then we finally get there and sit around and eat alot of fucking food.chat a little bit. everyone seems to like andy which is really good because if they didnt, it wouldnt be a good trip. so andy was just getting adjusted to my family...which he did suprisingly well. and we all just hung out as usual and ate alot of fucking food.
then we got on the boat to see the fireworks like we do every year. but see, this year, the boat was broken. but you know how we are and we didnt really care so we went anyways. it was really funny at first because the boat kept stalling and we would just be floating there for a while...but then it would start again and it would be fine. we watched the worst firework show ever. thats the end of that. and then we went home. but we really didnt make it home.
you see what happened was...
we made it all the way almost there. i mean, we were like 4 houses away and the boat died. thats right. the boat DIED. and we were still on it. so we had to wait until we drifted toward a nearby dock to just tie the boat up SOMEWHERE and get off to go home. so we had to sneak off of these peoples property and walk home [since our ride met us like 10 ft away from the house].
and now we are finally home. and we are going to play men are from mars, women are from venus. it should be interesting.
