WEMF and all the madness that happened there
thursday night we began our escapade by driving a grueling 12 hours to canada and finally arriving at the campsite at 11(?)am. we set up our site with a bunch of kids from mass and ny(?). i took a short nap, met these chicks from toronto that got me drunk and we all smoked and then danced in the jungle room until my legs were tired and i was all sweaty. went back to the tents to find lj, smoked a little more and then it started raining. but that was ok because there were all these little bugs that looked like seseme seeds jumping all over the place and crawling all over everything so the rain helped keep them away. it only rained for maybe an hour anyways and after the rain, there was a double rainbow in the sky which i thought was pretty until some kid said "plur" and then i thought the sky was gay.
went to bed pretty early, woke up even earlier b/c some stupid ravers were screaming "what?" "ok!" like that crazy rapper does. it was sunny and i got sunburned, it was mostly uneventful until it got later that night. we were all simmering in anticipation to see Rabbit in the Moon. before his set, me and l got dosed with liquid by some kinda creepy guy and we waited about 2 hours but we didn't feel anything so we mushroom chicken soup and drank that and then ran off to see RITM. i think everything hit at once b/c i thought i was dying for a little bit, but then that passed and it was fun. RITM was AWESOME as usual and after his set we saw him walking through the room so we ran up to him and met him and he gave me this huge bear hug and it was greatgreatgreat and we stood basking in his greatness and it was all that i could do from reaching over and cutting off one of his dreds so that i could sell it on ebay.
sunday was sad, the party was over and we had to say bye to all the cool people that we met. i dunno if i'm going to go again next year, it's a little too much effort for me, but it was still awesome. i miss canada.
