tuesday: jeri dropped me off and i had good times in her car with gen and rachelle. went to joann fabrics after school with amy jay! i took forever to pick out fabric because i can't make decisions in my life. but i decided on a really cute brown fabric with a hawaiian flower-type design in beige outline. (i am making a purse) for the interior, it's a brown with tiny colored flowers like blue and red and yellow. i'm not using a pattern so hopefully it will turn out okay! so after amy drove me around everywhere and i made her super late for her personal trainer....we sang "catch my disease" by ben leein the car and then she dropped me off at home. i cute my fabric and then made tee-shirts with puffy paints for the silent protest that was today. i made four....one for me, one for jeri, one for rachelle, and one for sarah! they are really cute.
wednesday(today): jeri picked me up with gen and rach in the car....i gave rach and jeri thier shirts and made them stay quiet so we did cherades and made peeps and noises to communicate....it was funny. after gym i left with my block class for the art museum in chicago field trip. i had fun and took lots of pictures and from morning bell to afternoon bell i stayed silent and only forgot about the protest once...because i fell asleep on the bus and just woke up and talked a few words then remembered to e quiet. it's so hard to keep quiet when you're used to being a huge blabbermouth. people were confused why i was protesting against hate crimes against homosexuals....because i think some people thought that only gay or straight people should be wearing the shirts, but that's not true. and my uncle is gay and i am so scared that him and his boyfriend are going to get hurt one day. i don't know. but after the museum at portillo's i made a funny noise and meghan lewis spit milk out all over everyone within 10 feet of us it was soooo funny. everytime we sit at that table at portillos for field trips, we always end up wiping up a huge mess! oh well. after school brian came over and we played at the playground by frontier with two kids i babysit. it was fun! he had to leave around 6:30 and i had a job interview at 7:00 at the YMCA for summer camp! im hired for the rest of the school year working in the fitness center, then i should be able to work with kids!
