Will i turn into a fairy if i always eat fairybread?

Not a huge amount has happened, so this will be short and not so sweet…

Went Scuba-diving on Wednesday out at Pirates bay (Eagle-hawk neck way), did a wreck dive as well as one through kelp which of course was the dive where I didn’t bring my knife. Kudos to me though because of the err 7 of us I came up 2nd last (bar the lady in charge) which means I used a lot less air, I was down 30 minutes longer than some.

What ruined the scuba trip was actually the boat ride to and from the dive spot, about 30 minutes each way though you would swear it must have been hours. It was pretty rough, though, rather than my usual feeling seasick, i had taken some drugs for it and was instead holding on for dear life. An example of this for those who have seen my dad; he was being thrown about the boat as well and has a gigantic bruise and swelling where he came down on the oxygen bottles. i nearly swore at the guy driving the damn thing, it’s just a biggish speed boat and so its not like there is anything to stop you falling over the side…and there was very little to hang onto. In the end i sat, which resulted in a very sore tailbone and bruised hands from hanging onto the rack where oxygen bottles would jump and land on my hands…

Quite a painful experience, although the further it went the more i realised it wouldn’t be that tragic if i went over the side after all.

Anyhoo. Went to Sonia’s birthday soiree on Thursday which turned out to be a lot of fun, headed back with others to Dan’s house afterward. Garry was my date for the evening and i think we both had a swell time :-) And of course, because there was fairy bread and who could resist?

Applied for a few jobs, i HATE applying for them because it means it could mean an interview which i hate even more so. Hard to find one that fits in with Uni for when it starts as well as Centrelink’s ‘can’t earn more than this or we will cut you off like a diseased hand’.

i will take a second to tell you how USELESS doctors can be; i rang up (about 1 ½ weeks after my blood test) to check on the results. And the woman talking to me said ‘yes, your results are in the Dr Law wants to see you’, now i would’ve thought they could ring me and tell me that. Slack eh?. i only rang because i knew that it was drastically unlikely that my levels were exactly what they wanted. *sigh* i’ll have to traipse back there….at 8:45 in the morning! Made one of those mistakes, said anytime is fine, morning will do…i didn’t mean that close to the crack of dawn though.

Gawd, i've been slack with the journal posts, ah well, 2007 isn’t going too badly so far, and it’s less than a month until Garry and i see the splendor that is Amy Lee.

Have a fabulous evening everyone, perhaps i will see you out tonight if I drag my carcass to the bar :-)
