The Song of Hope | Scrooging the Coast 09'
I never did get to update about the concert. I've just been in an odd depressing mood lately, not really trying to be at all. It just happened.
December 18th, 09' was scrooging the coast and may I say, it was amazing. It was made of four bands, and a lot of people hated the line up, but I thought the line up was -amazing-
First up was a band from Mississippi called Papercutmassacre they were really good, I wasn't familiar to them before the concert, but may I add their guitarist was beautiful!
Next up was Halestorm! This is one of the bands I wanted to see live for a while and it was well worth it, the vocalist is female and has a super strong vocal cord @.@ turned me on so badly.
Next was shinedown they were absolutely amazing. I admit, before I saw them in concert, I was not a fan at all, but these guys put on one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen in my life! They did a cover of Simple Man, which was beautiful.
The last was Papa Roach, the whole reason of me going, and also the reason my friend, Katherine came along with me. Apparently they were recording a live album at our show, but after they played lifeline, they said they had a surprise, this ended up being them and shinedown playing beautiful day/U2 cover.
Anyway, I would like to write more, but updating on my blackberry is driving me crazy.
