haha i know thats probably the worst adjective i could possibly use to describe him and all of his thoughts and crazy ideas.
but i think he's cool.
i think transcendentalism is cool.
most people find "reading" to be their favorite section but i prefer "economy"
i understand "reading" and where hes coming from
but i think "economy" is just so much more interesting.
he takes the common laboring man and describes him in comparison to.. uhh.. himself?
and it all fits so perfectly
the way he describes everything
man works to achieve the "four necessities of life"
but he forgets the greatest one of all, integrity.
he left society to explore nature, which is ultimately his "partner" so to speak, in life.
it's so easy to apply to today's society.
oy it's too late for me to try and be intellectual.
but do you see where im coming from?
