"Normal"

Is there really such a thing as "normal" ?

Maybe, but what makes it so complicated is that each person's definition of the world "normal" is different.

Would a Canadian and an Afghanistan be able to agree upon a definition of what a so called "normal person" would be like? Not a chance.

But, you don't have to be from a different country or culture to have a different view on this. While you may very well share some beliefs on what is normal with your friends, this will not likely be the case with your parents, or even siblings.

So, if there is no set definition of the word in all truth, then why do people strive to be it? Every person in this world is unique, no matter how much they may try to conform to the society in which they find themselves. I am very lucky to have the family and friends that I do, who are all secure in themselves, and non-conformists. I am equally happy that I too, am this way.

And so, I am proud to say that no matter what your definition of normal may be, I do not fit it!
