The Sunday O' Fun

So...today was fun, in a near death kind of way. :P Heather called me at 11:00am and told me to be up at the storage place by 12:00, suppose I should have gone to bed before 6am last night...ugg. So I get up and get there right on time and what do I find? Not much...the only people that were there was Lindsey, Barb, Mom, Dad, Uncle (enter name here), and Big Mike. So we find the unit and start moving shit, good thing me and Mike were there cause Dad realy shouldn't have been lifting most of the stuff there. About 1/2 way through the first unit Muta and his GF show up and lend a helping hand. After we empty the first unit we move over to the second, much larger one...only to find it locked with a lock we don't have a key for. So we screw around for a bit thankful for the break and low and behold!!! Heather and Ryan show up (about 1:00) yea! Lindsey and Mom head off to buy some drinkage and time passes (bout 30 min) for the rest of us. Eventually the maintenance guy shows up and we get the other lock off and start working on that one. It was funny, earlier I had mentioned to Mike that 'you know...when Ryan shows up he's gonna try to take charge.' and guess what? He tried. But Mike and I just kinda worked around him cause he was doing more directing than working I think. Eventually we get everything loaded up and we head over to the new place, at which time a conversation took place as to weather or not she should stay here or not. So, Mike and I started to unload stuff and everyone got the picture and started hauling ass...except that there was a damn football field between the truck and the apartment. Eventually we decided to roll the big shit over there on a dolly thing and we started packing Nicks truck with the boxes and went around back. At like 4:00-4:30 Heather, Ryan, Nick, and Nicks GF left for some LQ thing that was at 5:00. *Ugg, sigh* That left us with Lindsey, Dad, Barb, Mom, and myself...fun. Lindsey couldn't effectively handle the heavy boxes cause of her cast getting in the way, Dad just isn't supposed to, and Barb and Mom were trying to make room for all the shit we were bringing in...so, that left me with the heavy haul. Go me! Did I mention that I have a messed up back? Well, I sure didn't tell them that, I just wanted to do the best I could. Life is Pain, Pain is Life. Well, after the 4 left Dad and Mom ran back to the house to get some truck so we could keep hauling and I converted my SUV to haul stuff. While Lindsey and I waited we just kinda chilled in my car, listened to some music (Greenday), and talked...was fun, and a much needed break. We finished about 7:00 packed up and left. Long day...did I mention I didn't eat? :) Went home, took a much needed shower and ate (Boston Market). And guss what? Here I am!!!!!

All in all, it was a fun day. I didn't mind the work, I rather enjoyed it...I'd like to lose some weight anyway and there's someone I rather like so I'd like to lose some weight for a better chance there too. Was a good productive workout, although I'm probably gonna call into work tomorrow :P Ugg, sore...Well anyway...this is like my tri-monthly update so ENJOY!
