my birthday ^^
I'm 21 now!!! X3
Actually i've been 21 for nearly two weeks now, but I just haven't had the time to write a new journal entry. My birthday was so much fun though!! Even though the weather was absoultely terrible (it rained on me twice) and I had assignments to work on, I still had a great day ^^
Besides being a year older, I didn't feel any 'different' on my birthday. However, being 21 certainly does feel different to be being the official (australian) adult age of 18 XD
Well let's see...on my birthday I went to uni to attend a tutorial. Then I did a tiny amount of work, and came home to relax for the rest of the evening X3 And OMG! MICALLEF was on the tv show 'Thank God you're here' - that just completed my evening! XD He's such a funny guy! X3 Afterwards I spoke with rhyfe and another friend of mine for a while ^^ I got a really cute little comic off rhyfe! And bday messages from Janni, Yolin and Yoli. Janni sent me a furuba e-card as well, yay! ^^
I got to talk to Taka the next day too ^^ He drew me the most handsome pic of Hatsuharu *_* *points at livejournal icon*
My birthday party was on the weekend. It was nothing big and flashy, just a small gathering of relatives and friends, but it was perfect in every way ^^ I had so much fun that night, but I was so tired from trying to get an assignment finished the night before - I fell asleep around midnight z_z
I got more lovely gifts that night as well! I got lots of clothes from my parents ^^ and 2 fantasy drawing books (which were given to me in April, lol XD) as well as a bunch of white/pink roses ^^ I also got some perfume, another bunch of flowers, a cat plush that looks like 'fat misty', and a silver necklace ^^ The next day I went out shopping with my family and chose out two necklaces: mum bought me a silver necklace with a silver and mother-of-pearl heart pendant, while my aunts bought me a silver necklace with amethyst ^^
And then the day after mum came home from the shops and she'd bought me a hair straightener! But I haven't had the chance to use it yet though ^^;
A friend shouted me lunch last Saturday too XD we ended up having chinese, and omg, there was so much on my plate i couldn't finish it ^^; Afterwards we checked out some of the 'boutique' gift shops around the area (they had some awesome stuff!)and then headed into the city. After walking around the shops for a while, my friend took me to the pancake parlour (as i've never been there before ^^; ) and OMG the pancakes there were so tasty X3 but just like lunch, the serving size was waaaaaaaay too big for me XD And the waitress questioned me a few times coz I asked her to 'hold the maple syrup' - pancakes with ice cream's good enough for me XD
