One bit of wisdom from a old market colleague. If you do pick up a newspaper from time to time, pick one up which has political views opposite to your own. It'll give you more amusement and broaden your understanding of how others think.

y'see I totally agree with that 'cept that one time I read the Daily Express an' it actually made me physically angry.. Could never understand how they think!

I read the Daily Mail for the same reason.

My parents get it, my Mum just reads the women sections (FeMail, gettit), my Dad just reads the cartoons. The cartoons are superb.
