Bristol Anarchist Bookfair - Saturday 12th September 2009 10:30am - 7:00pm. The Island, Silver Street, Bristol BS1 2PY
Had a reminder that that I'm on the catering crew for that one, so best get my finger out. Needed a jumpstart to get back and involved in Kebele - will have to pop in this evening and check the kitchen refit.
Carny Ville (website still showing previous event's details) is returning on 25/26/27th September 2009.
It's a proper extravaganza, if anyone from out of town wants to come along/sort out crash space etc, can you let us know asap.
Looks like their last show at The Island ... could be they're handing the venue back to Urban Splash to be redeveloped at some point in the non-too-distant. May have words with a few folk about joining the crew and helping out this time around.
Dress for the experience of a lifetime
Says the flyer. What's that all about, eh? When it comes to the experience of a lifetime, I could do with one which doesn't require clothes, however that sort of thing ain't happening at the mo' and I could do with a new outfit (or two) - any suggestions of decent shops/designers that might tickle my fancy, or peculiar new looks (was considering zombie bull vs zombie matador as a walkaround thing with a friend but the Spanish connection hasn't come through)?
