Justice was great. So good to see an exhibition in an interesting space which isn't a white box. It makes so much difference. Folk chat comfortably and kids run around on adventures (also taking in the work), it's a far cry from the usual gallery behavior of hushed tones and fake reverence normally reserved for church visits. You can touch, feel, stand in the middle of the work.
The work ... here's a
photo stream.
Do yourself a favour and visit if you can.
Been a very busy shift at Kebele today, a bit short handed but we coped with 40-odd. Post-G20 meeting going on and folk had a lot to talk about, plus some of the artists from the Justice exhibition turned up as well.
Off to the Plough later on tonight for a good social and to see the crazy pirate/folk/rock'n'roll of
Bones At The Bottom of the Barrel amongst a few other odds and ends. Dozed off. Knackered. Quiet night in.
Yup, back in Bristol alright.
