Puberty
They’ve been together, officially, for one year (although there was a decidedly unofficial period of blushing and fumbling, which lasted almost six months), but sometimes Harry wonders if he’s ever going to get used to shagging Ron.
Not the actual shagging (because that bit’s going rather well, thank you) but the other stuff, like asking him on dates. Ron says it was harder with girls, but Harry must be doing it wrong because asking Ron out to a posh restaurant feels like proposing to Cho Chang in front of the entire school.
It’s like going through puberty all over again.
