We took the little man to the doctor yesterday to get his cold checked out, and it turns out he has RSV. RSV is the virus that causes bronchitis and pneumonia, but in his case it caused bronchiolitis. He has to be given breathing treatments with a nebulizer every four hours to open up his airways. Poor little sweeter peet. So far he's taken it just fine, even though the doctor told us he might get super worked up and crabby from the Albuterol.
He's very contagious, so I had to stay home with him today rather than send him to daycare. The medicine keeps him awake, but I've been trying to get him to nap and I think he's finally gotten to sleep. He's actually sucking his thumb, and it's adorable. Just love him.
