I baked my pie yesterday, and it is so tasty. I'm really bad at making crust, though. It always tastes amazing, but I can barely keep it together to roll out and get into the pan. Not sure where I'm going wrong.
I always have to piece the crust together like clay, just patching the holes and smooshing it together.
Before baking, I made a little cherry design with my scraps. It certainly looked pretty once I got the top crust on, so no one needs to know how bad the bottom crust looked.
