i'm almost finished with my quilt now, i just have to finish tacking it. i made the back yesterday out of some of my pink eiffel tower fabric, and i like that side so much that i might have to make it the front instead. it took me forever to get the layers pinned together, because lynx wouldn't stay off of it, then when i tried to sew it together, tobio wouldn't stay off of it. at least i know my quilt has the cats' stamp of approval.
i think i'm going to do some valentine sewing and crafting today, i'm in a valentine mood. i think i'll make a purse with heart appliques or embroidery. or a bird holding a heart in its beak maybe.
i'm so glad it's going to be warm this weekend. perfect zoo weather. of course this means that at the last minute it's going to get super cold and foil my plans again.
i think my stereo is officially dead. it stopped working yesterday and it was so hot and smelled like melting plastic, then it started making a horrible grinding noise that wouldn't stop even when i turned it off. i had to actually unplug it to get it to stop. that's probably a bad sign, isn't it?
mandy and i are supposed to play on thursday, maybe she wants to see the life aquatic if she still hasn't? or a very long engagement? does ashley want to come?
