I really hate teen drivers
This morning I sent Plummetycat and two of the household daughters off to Chicago for the Stonedog event. Plummetycat is to be merchanting and having a girls weekend, this was screwed over by a kid behind the wheel in Chicago.
The Girls are all okay and my truck still runs and rolls.....but it is torn up due to a teenager girl, a 2008 Scion, a Cellphone and a Chicago highway. Plummetycat swerved over on to the shoulder to avoid the Scion with a driver on the phone cutting across two lanes of traffic to hit an exit she had nearly passed. Initial impact was nearly in Kat's diver door and moved forward from there and racked back down the truck to the back bumper.
I really hope that none of the Spicewell's stock was damage by that little twit. I also hope that Plummetycat has a good day with the girls at Stonedog.
This just goes to prove that I cannot own a new vehicle without some jackass hitting it and doing thousands of dollars of damage to it. I am so angry with the little Chicago teenager that thinks she is the only thing on the road. Her parents show up in a Caddie Esclade and she is crying and yowling.....the State Trooper had many many pretty pieces of paper for their little girl.
Improper lane usage
Speeding
Failure to yield
Use of a cellphone while driving....I thnk that just became illegal in Illinois
I am sure these are just a few of the tickets she earned.
Just want the girls to have a good weekend and get home safe.
