Oh I hope Cuddy has it in her heart to sell Greg to James, and then her and Foreman can start over with a mind-wiped slave!Vogler lol.

In all seriousness though, there's something still incredibly tragic about James' new fortune. It reminds me too much of cases where criminals are wrongly convicted and executed, and the loss of life is so insignificant that the judicial system is just like "meh." I was on a tour recently (not even a fortnight ago) of a disused jail in my city that has been opened up to the public, and they told us that only after a person was hanged, the jury were invited to view the body to make sure it was the correct person - months after they'd been on death row. In the event that they were wrong, it just didn't matter, and they'd be buried in unmarked graves anyway so why bother?

Tritter's complete lack of concern rings completely true in this regard. "You lucked out, son." Of course James has escaped, but Tritter's comments are no more empathetic than telling someone who is moaning about a common cold to get well soon i.e. shut the hell up about it.

Foreman has a similar attitude towards the 'wronged man' (I think) when he advances on Wilson in a panic, and I loved that Wilson was able to tell him that his excuses were crap because, regardless of his station in life, he was, above all else, as much a human and with as much a right to life as Foreman or anybody else. For the same reason, I especially loved that he asserted that his name was James, and not Jimmy.

Yes, it's all well and good that James is free now, but the mindwipe is done, and he's spent that time in slavery :( I always feel like that when someone wrongly convicted is released from prison many years later, that's something you're never going to get over. Tritter is, well, he's still Tritter :)

Glad you liked the bit with Foreman :)
