[Beast has not been outside his tiny apartment in the Welcome Center since he's retrieved his precious rose from the Item Shop, and has been consequently spending his entire time examining the thing almost obsessively.  Is it okay?  It seems to be okay.  Actually, Beast hasn't seen it drop a single petal in all the time he's had it, which is

Anyway. You're better off with an apartment unless you have some need for a house. There's not a ton of houses compared to then number of people here.
