As if the stress caused by the finals (which, by the way, are going just fine) was not enough, I got a surprising phone call from my mother yesterday. Since I turn 20 at the end of this month one of my father's old business partners approached my mother with a suggestion of an omiai between me and his son. Yes, an omiai; saying that I was surprised would definitely be an understatement. My mother let me make the decision and I have decided to at least meet this man, it would be rude not to.

An omiai?! Not what I need right now... *sighs* I must meet with him so I can reject their offer appropriately. I do not even know this man and marrying someone that I do not know is not something I ever plan on doing. Besides... It would not be fair to him, not with him still hanging around.
I have suggested that we meet up in Niigata City tomorrow, it is best to settle this as soon as possible.
