I find it interesting that you thought the end was too long. I was actually disappointed when all of a sudden, there I was going against Wheatley. I also found him waaaaay easier to beat than GLaDOS ever was. I only had to redo the last sphere once, and that was only because I didn't see it with enough time to actually set myself up to get it. GLaDOS actually took me a couple more tries and proved more difficult. Maybe it was just that I've had much more Aperture Laboratories testing under my belt now, or because Wheatley was, well, a moron. lol! Though I agree the vintage Aperture did drag on a little, it wasn't too bad an dit was fun to explore the little nuances of what was left behind

I knew the game was nearly over at that point. When the reactor started to go critical, that was a chapter marker that said, "This is the end." It made me feel like I had a sense of purpose and a reason to complete those test chambers as fast as possible. If they moved those pieces towards the middle, or added another chapter -after- it and let the facility start to eat itself afterwards, I'd have been much much happier with it and I wouldn't have felt that the end was too long. Still though, it's a minor nitpick compared to the bigger opus that was the game.
Yeah, I can't wait for PSN to go back up. I won a bunch of money playing blackjack that weekend and picked up the official sony Bluetooth headset just for multiplayer.
Anyways, both Steam and PSN I'm Alkrea. Unfortunately, I didn't link my PSN and Steam when I first got the game and PSN was still up. /sigh But I did create my Steam account today, in hopes of PSN returning soon. I can't remember if I have you friended on PSN...
even if you've haven't got any games listed, you should still be able to bring up the little friends box on the lower right. I added you, so, it should work the other way
