TLA sucked; who knew?

So there's a huge hullabaloo about TLA's casting.

There should be a bigger ruckus over that.

Mostly because it's a group of mostly white people deciding what is, and is not Asian.

Assuming that Asians have to fulfill these rolls is pretty damn racist in the first place. I'd hate to tell you white people this, but, not every Asian knows Kung Fu or knows Mandarin, or wears rice paddy hats, or pulls Rik-shaws, or likes rice.

I really don't care that it is a couple of Asian people who founded Racebending, being Asian doesn't make you instantly right in this debate either.

I was going to make this much longer but in short, if you're white and upset at the casting of TLA, you're a huge racist, and you're missing the bigger problem Asians face; and it's not being in a lousy M. Night Shyamalan movie either. If you are Asian and angry, that's fine; just understand there are much bigger problems; most of which come from the fact that a bunch of whiny fanbrats let two white guys from Nickelodeon decide what is and what is not Asian.

Edit to add:

I really am not fazed much by the racism allegations with TLA. I've been Asian all my life, and outside of being an extra on MASH, there's not much in the way of roles that Asians have played on TV outside of doing kung fu and other martial arts bullshido.

I've learned if one doesn't calm down and relax, it's hard to generally enjoy entertainment; it's largely going to be offensive to someone. Fortunately, it's really OK to hate a movie because it's crap. Which RottenTomatoes.com has decided it is.
