new computer?
So, with the advent of my student loan, I'm looking at upgrading. My current thoughts are ASUS motherboard, with low-end core 2 duo and two gig of pimped-up RAM. Video card is either ATI or Nvidia.
A few thoughts before people bitch:
I'm getting the retail versions 'cos they're on sale, and cheaper than the OEM, or hard to get hold of.
The pimped-up RAM is only about slightly more expensive than the regular RAM, and I like lights.
The ATI card is cheaper, and it's what I'll probably go for.
Oh, and this is on a short timescale, 'cos things won't stay on sale forever. So, thoughts?
